Shyness is a growing problem for many women. It can really choke a woman from saying something interesting in a social setting. They don’t want to come off as being stupid, so some women prefer saying nothing. Eventually, it will probably result in a woman being overlooked for something, and because we want the best out of life, it should be battled. It’s pretty hard for most women, as they are used to not saying very much to other people, and this goes double when concerning the opposite sex. It’s fairly common, especially if the girl thinks the guy is attractive. She doesn’t want to say anything that will scare him away, but, if she doesn’t say anything he’s probably not going to say too much either. It’s a double-edged sword, and totally “damned if you do, damned if you don’t” kind of situation.

Unfortunately, it’s something that needs to be addressed as soon as possible, because there will be a situation when a woman is interested in a man and she’ll want something to say, without jitters. Fortunately, men aren’t that quick to judge, or slower to judge than most women would expect. The opinion of you probably won’t be formed in the first conversation, unless you’re completely crazy. We wish all the luck to these women. But, back on subject, most women don’t have too much to worry about. It’s all about striking up the conversation. There’s no limit on what you can say. Just look around the room, make an observation, and comment on it. There’s no way he’s going to walk away from you, at worst, he’ll respond. At best, he’ll laugh and you two may even become friends, or even involved at some point.

There is no magic secret when it comes to overcoming shyness around guys. It’s something that’s going to take a lot of practice. Fortunately, all this entails is talking to more guys. There’s no way that you can overcome your shyness without talking. Be blunt, crass, sweet, or you could even use the shyness to your advantage. If you’re a person that doesn’t say too much often, the guy will probably know, and even find it endearing. You won’t know until you open your mouth and let words flow out.
