Having your first crush could add more troubles to already difficult teenage years. What could add wound to the salts is the fact that you want to ask a guy out in middle school but not sure how to approach him and in this dilemma he gets hitched by someone else. Therefore it is important for any teenage girl to understand that it is okay to approach a guy first and ask him out on a date. But before asking a guy out in middle school it is important to find out if he doesn’t already have a girlfriend. • It is important to keep in mind that things will also be slightly tough for the teenage boy so before you ask him out try to arouse his interest. Guys are attracted towards cool girls and someone whom they can trust. So tease him a little but don’t over do it and be nice to the guy whom you want to ask to come out with you on a date. You can flirt with him and even come up with a secret pet name but nothing unmanly which your guy will hate.

• Remember guys in middle school like to go out with girls and have fun. They generally tend to avoid girls that starts wearing the tag of their girlfriend just after a casual pizza date.

• Check if the guy you are interested in is actually attracted towards you by casually moving to his side and touching his arms. If he flinches uncomfortably it is better to stay away and give him some more time.

• Before you ask a guy out in middle school it is important that both of you hang around together for sometime with your friends and his always there for company. Don’t hug him or kiss him in public as that might be a little embarrassing. Strike up a casual conversation before moving on to personal talks.

• Before making the kill and asking him out for date start giving him hints by making eye contacts or exchanging secret smiles in classrooms and off it. Try to go out for a group movie to strengthen your friendship. Spend some more time together and learn more about his hobbies likes and dislikes. Once you have developed a comfort feeling you are ready to ask him out for a date.

• If the guy has said yes you can slip a small sweet and simple note in his locker informing him about your plan. But on the other hand if the guy says ‘no’ don’t be disheartened as maybe he is not yet ready to have a relationship. Even if you are nuts about him don’t be pushy when he says no as it may act as a turn “off”.

The trick to be successful in asking a guy out in middle school is to be confident and brave. Be yourself and take even a ‘No’ in your stride gracefully.

My crush slow danced with other girls last night but i don't think he has a girlfriend. How do I find out if he likes me. He's really popular but that's not why I like Him. I'm really nervous about asking a guy out. He is 13 and I'm 12, but he hangs round with a load of popular girls that are really pretty. I'm too shy to ask him cause all the girls hate me. I'm scared they will spread gossip. There are 300 pupils in my year, and what if they find out?! I've tried everything, and it seemed to be working, but about a month ago he started ignoring me :( I need advice. I've known him for a little over a year. advice?

i have known this guy since 4th grade. i know that his friends were telling me that he liked me in 4th grade but didnt believe it. and in fifth grade i still liked him. he asked me out and i said yes. all of his and my friends were immature about it so we broke up. and no in sixth grade i still really like him. i only see him in the courtyard in the morning and ocassionally passing in the hallways. we have no classes together at all. now , some of his NEW friends have told me that he liked me. i asked them and he said "i never said that! but im not saying no about liking u." so wut does that mean? is he into me or not? should i ask him out or wait for him to make the first move? i have the feeling that he may ask me out soon. but i dont want to wait longer bcz i am so in love it feels as though i cant live without him!!!
