Weening Him Off the Video Games
Many guys play video games. It's almost as if it's a part of their DNA. At times, it seems like they want to do nothing more than to shoot some zombies or score a touchdown or something. For some couples, it's a situation where as soon as he gets off of work, he's on his Xbox for hours. In a word, the whole thing is neglectful on his part. There are so many other things that he could (or should) be doing with his time, including spending the night with his lovely girlfriend or wife. Unfortunately, he doesn't see it that way, and there he is intently glaring at the television screen. There are a lot of women that are handling this in their own way, and there actually have been many women that have been through the situation without anything too hard. For any woman who wants their husband or boyfriend to put down the joystick, she'll have to devise some kind of plan. There are two types of plans when it comes to this, and it all depends what type of woman that you may be. The first, probably the easiest, would have to be a plan of incentives. Men like to be bribed in some way. Women have inherent tools that work wonderfully for this job, something that their husbands can ignore. If the woman wants to persue this option, she may want to take her boyfriend or spouse to the side and show him what he may be missing. It doesn't always have to be physical, but that works. Most men are playing the games because they cannot find anything else to do, so, provide him with an alternative. An adequate alternative may be just what he needs. There's the other side of the coin, as well. Some women have taken some other lengths to keeping their man off of the video games. It is a pretty risky thing to do, especially if they are willing to go to the extreme. If a girlfriend or wife is especially fed up, she'll even go to the lengths of denying things to their husband or boyfriend. It's not like a much different from how a child would be disciplined, except a boyfriend or husband can't be restricted from going out and playing. But, there are certain other restrictions that a woman can use to get their man to get off of the video games. In whatever decision that a woman may choose, they all will have to do something before they start on their program. It's very important that the woman is very focal about their significant other and their video game addiction. Stress to them how important it is that you two spend time together, and how this is really putting a strain on the relationship. If that conversation goes well, a woman will find that they may not have to offer or deny things that he holds dear.
