He's the man of your dreams, or the man of the moment. You want him, to put it plainly, and you don't have him. • Personality is another highly important thing. • Be unavailable when you're apart. He should have to work for spending time with you. Being available every day and he gets bored. He wants to feel he's gaining someone of value, not someone without a life or someone needy, who just wants someone to take care of them.

• Speaking about taboo topics. A few obvious ones are ex-boyfriends; you ask him how he feels about the future, children or marriage. Anything to do that deals with how much money he has. Any one of these could have him falling out of his chair, instead of falling in love with you.

• Sleeping with him early on. There's no emotional tie like there is when you get to know each other, which means he has no obligation or guilt to stop seeing you. Use a little self-control and get to know him well- his likes, dislikes, who he is. He won't chase you after one or two nights.

• Expecting him to be a mind-reader, and being disappointed or angry when he doesn't understand. It makes men crazy, but not in the good way. Say what you mean and mean what you say, and he'll respect you for it.

Stealing a man's heart really is an art form, but if you show some restraint and play your cards right, he'll be falling madly in love with you before you know it.
