Speeding Up the Process of a Hickey
It happens, you and your boyfriend or husband are sitting around and things start to get a little heavy. There's a lot of kissing going on, and a few nibbles here and there. After this night of passion, there may be certain marks that you may not want the whole world to see. The hickey tells the tale of the happenings of last night, and it's something that people will pick apart and make fun of. In a word, it's pretty embarrassing, and something that should be taken care of as soon as possible. We do not want our co-workers and our friends to know what's going on, and although it isn't an overnight process, there are ways for a woman to speed up the process. Obviously, there's the home remedies that work with some level of effectiveness, but we want something that's going to produce better results than that. Okay, before we really get into it, a woman should know that it is entirely impossible to get rid of a hickey. It's just not scientifically possible, so let's move on to the treatment. One of the most effective ways to treat the hickey is to apply some ice to it. Since it's basically busted blood vessels, there's going to be a certain level of swelling involved. So, it's obvious that we'll use the same method here. Apply some ice to the hickey for a while, but beware, applying ice to the hickey will actually constrict the ruptured blood vessels. Massages really help with hickeys, as well. It's just like with any kind of bruise. In composition, the hickey is just a blood clot, and it can't go anywhere unless there is some kind of massage to direct it. Granted, it may be a little painful, especially with the ice treatment, but it's a lot better than actually having people point out the fact that you have a hickey. Speaking of cold and unpleasant things, it actually helps if you massage the hickey with a cold spoon, moving it in a clockwise motion. Additionally, this is a two part treatment. After the cold treatment, it's time to do the exact opposite of that. After a day or so, you'll want to apply heat to the hickey, and this will start the second healing process. After the capillaries have healed, it's time to stimulate the blood flow. Treating the hickey is a little troubling, but mostly inconvenient. The best method in treating a hickey is catching it before it happens. It may sound a little brash, but it really takes no effort to divert his mouth elsewhere. It's not like he wouldn't, he's so thrown into the world of passion that he would hardly even notice. But, if there's no chance of that happening, you are now armed with one of the most effective ways to speed up the process. This method has been trusted for a number of years, and will surely continue.
